Service Description

As therapists, we all need a safe space to reflect on our work, gain perspective and develop greater insight and confidence. Whether you are a trainee or an experienced practitioner, supervision offers a supportive and contained environment in which to explore both your clients and yourself. Whether you are navigating complex cases, feeling stuck, or wanting to deepen your understanding of the therapeutic relationship, supervision can help you see yourself, your client and the therapeutic relationship with greater clarity.

Using a collaborative approach, and drawing from psychodynamic, relational, emotion-focused, existential and trauma-focused approach, I facilitate an exploratory environment in which you can safely engage with your work, vulnerabilities, patterns and transference.  Depending on your needs, supervision is tailored to your level of experience, therapeutic orientation and professional context, allowing us to work through the relational, emotional and practical dimensions of your practice. The aim is to support you in returning to your clients with greater clarity, authenticity and confidence.

I adhere to the ethical principles and guidelines of the BACP, BPS and Sveriges Psykologförbund, and offer both individual and group supervision. Individual supervision sessions are 50 minutes, with frequency determined by your professional association's requirements. Group supervision consists of a minimum of four and a maximum of six practitioners and meets biweekly for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Alongside learning from one another, group supervision offers a space that extends beyond task and process oriented supervision to provide a more creative setting for exploring group dynamics, patterns and emerging themes when relevant. A three-month commitment is required to allow time for consolidation and the development of group cohesion.
