Couples Therapy
Service Description
Strong relationships can contribute to our mental wellbeing, contentment and joy, but are by no means easy. They come in all sorts of sizes and shapes. Whilst rewarding, relationships can also be triggering. They can be challenged amongst other by life transitions, financial stress, loss, infidelity, cultural and religious differences, fertility, intimacy issues and parenting challenges. Differences in personality, upbringing, communication and approach to conflict can obscure one's view of the relationship. Routine and mundaneness can also impact our relational satisfaction and create a sense of loss and direction. Whether you are in a monogamous, polyamorous, open, long-distance, interracial or same-sex relationship, KO Psychology offers couples therapy for those would like to work on specific issues, increase physical and emotional intimacy, or receive guidance along the way. You are seen as the experts of your relationship. Couples therapy is there to help process any unresolved or lingering grievances whilst developing communication and conflict management skills. It aims to enhance compassion and awareness of each other, and create a sense of team work whilst working towards a common vision. There is a limited availability for couples therapy at KO Psychology to uphold the integrity of the service. If there is no availability at moment, and you would like to be put on the waiting list, please send me an email with you details and pop back at a later time.
